Dapagliflozin

• Orally active DPP-41 prevents the inactivation of glucagon-like peptide-1 and improves islet function
• Rapidly absorbed after oral consumption and efficiently lowers HbA 1C in subjects with type 2 diabetes.
•  Reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver by raising insulin levels and decreasing the level of glucagon
